Founder
Tyrus I Vaughn is a Nashville native and US Army Desert Storm veteran. After serving the country and gaining an honorable discharge, he attended Nashville State Technical Institute and graduated with a Associate’s degree in Computer Accounting Technology. Tyrus worked in corporate America for major companies like IBM, Primus Automotive, CNA Insurance and Verizon Wireless where he gained impeccable business knowledge and acumen. After 20 years of the corporate industry, he continued to gain education and customer service excellence working in the mortgage industry another 10 years before venturing off into entrepreneurship.
Growth
Eye Shine Transportation started working with Amazon delivering skids of packages from HUBs in Nashville and LaVergne, TN to USPS locations throughout Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. Over the years we have provided services for US Logistics, R and L Carriers, Pilot Freight, Crosstown Courier, and Diligent Delivery Services.
Mission
"Dependable with an attitude of gratitude". On a daily basis we pride ourselves on being on time for picks ups, drops, and assisting in deliveries whether getting the freight from a dock or using our lift gates, we are there to see it through.
